For my first hand research I wanted to physically go and visit a beach. I went to the Channel and it was very interesting to go and visit it first hand. I was able to gather some very interesting images. I was lucky enough that I went on a day in which there was waves so the sea was more exciting to take images of.

I wanted to defiantly take images of the sand because I think there is always interesting shapes within the sand that have been formed by the waves. There was also some interesting objects within in the sand, so when I next go and visit these beaches to collect some of the objects to then incorporate within my project.

I wanted to do some close up of waves because I think they create some really fascinating shapes to draw from. When looking at. artists who created some exciting shapes I looked at these images of the sea and how to look at the closely. To form some patterns and repetitive shapes that you can see clearly in the images.
